Lisa Edelstein was an American actress, best known as the star of Fox's House medical series. In a strictly Jewish upbringing the actress relocated from Wayne to New York City when she was just 18 years old to go to the Tisch School of Arts. She soon became part of the club scene in New York and started making headlines. The press also was impressed by her. She then used her background and fame along with her personal experience to create and perform a show called Positive Me. Awake in the Wild Side was her next job. After the show was finished it was time to work in movies and TV productions. Her first job was in smaller roles, and then became established slowly as an actor.
