Charissa Thompson
Thompson left FOX Sports in 2010, and did double duty hosting both Versus and Yahoo Sports. Thompson hosted Versus' NHL coverage in the studio, and also produced Web-based videos for Yahoo's popular platform. Thompson helmed the website's presence at major sports events like the 2010 Winter Olympics and FIFA World Cup. Achieving success in both areas led to her joining ESPN in the summer of 2011 in which she was selected as one of the hosts for ESPN's newest evening show "Numbers Never Lie." In July 2012 she changed to the show that became known as "SportsNation," enjoying a long-lasting and successful show that ran until it was cancelled by the network. come back to Los Angeles for the launch of FS1 in May of 2013. Thompson is a passionate athlete, and she proved her ability to make the transition from sports into entertainment. In June of 2014, following a number of part-time positions Thompson was named permanent co-host of the Hollywood evening news magazine "Extra". While co-hosting the magazine, she also filmed at Universal Studios as well as hosting award shows with a staff and events regularly.
