Amber Benson, an American singer-songwriter director and producer is also a songwriter. Most famously, she is known for her character Tara Maclay on the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer and was also the director and starred in her own films Chance as well as Lovers Liars & Lunatics. She also appeared in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson is the son born on the 8th of January 1977 to Edward Benson and Diane Benson. She has a younger sister Danielle, who works as an artist. Benson was raised in the Reform Synagogue by the Reform Jewish mother and Jewish father. Benson was a part of Morganville The Series and in The Killing Jar since Buffy's closing.
