Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez was born in Havana Cuba. Her family relocated to Miami at 2 years old. Ana Polo Gonzalez was born and raised in Havana Cuba and moved with her family to Miami at the age of two. Ana Maria Polo, born in Habana Cuba and is currently an anchor for the well-known Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado" it was the first Spanish programming to win a Daytime Entertainment Emmy (r). In 2015, she placed at number one for Spanish at 4pm for key demos. Polo is an American born in Cuba that was born April 11, 1959. The actress attended Florida International University and graduated with a degree in political science. She then earned her PhD in law from The University of Miami. Ana Maria Matute emigrated to the United States after leaving Spain in the year 1960. A breast cancer survivor, Polo often speaks, and has a tendency to raise money for the cause. In her long professional career, she's fought for LGBT equality. She received her law degree in 1987 at the University of Miami School of Law.
