Gunn is famous for her role as Skyler White on the AMC drama show Breaking. The actress was nominated in 2013 and 2014 to win the Primetime Emmy Award as Outstanding Supporting actress on a drama show due to her portrayals. She wrote an opinion piece in the month of August 2013 in The New York Times, discussing the negative reception of her role as a character.
