Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss was born July 23, 1971, in Decatur, Illinois. Both LeAnnekymes and Krauss were among the newest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss was born in the month of July 1971. Alison is a bluegrass and country singer. She began to work in the music business from a young age. at the age of 10 years old, she took part in local contests, and then recorded her first album. The year 1985 saw her enrolled with Rounder Records and in 1987 came out with her debut album. After that, she was asked to be a part of Alison Krauss Union Station, the band she currently performs together. Her first album in a group with this band came out in the year 1989.
