Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th 1996) was born in Miami Florida. A half English as well as Spanish her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. She is an Argentinean with Scottish, English and Argentinean descendance. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children from her father's prior marriage. Buenos Aires was her home until the age of six and the family relocated into Victoria within London. Taylor-Joy says the move to London was traumatizing and that she didn't study English so that she could avoid returning to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the switched from Northlands. Then she attended Queen's Gate School in London and took ballet classes as well as participated in the drama department. After she turned 16years old, Taylor-Joy left the school to concentrate on her acting career. Taylor-Joy was always aware of her desire to become an actor. Her dream was granted a chance by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management she offered her the opportunity to model.
